Alain Néemeh is President and Chief Executive Officer of RGA Life Reinsurance Company of Canada (RGA Canada), a position he has held since 2006. He is also Head of Global Mortality Markets and leader of the Global Pricing Integrity function for Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated, RGA Canada’s parent company, and in March 2012, was given executive responsibility for RGA's Australian operations. He is also a member of RGA’s Executive Council.

Alain arrived at RGA Canada in 1997 with initial responsibility for the finance area. He became RGA Canada’s Chief Financial Officer in 1998 and in 2001, its Executive Vice President, Operations and Chief Financial Officer. He joined RGA after eight years at KPMG where, as a Senior Manager, he oversaw the delivery of audit and other services to a variety of clients in the financial services, manufacturing, and retail sectors.

Alain received his B.Comm. (Bachelor of Commerce) degree with a concentration in Accountancy from McGill University in Montreal. He is a member of the Ordre des Comptables Agréés du Québec, and is a past chairman of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Life and Health Insurance Association (CLHIA), an industry association counting 99% of Canada’s life and health insurance companies as members.
