Head of Global Mortality Products
Alain Néemeh is President and Chief Executive Officer of RGA Life Reinsurance Company of Canada (RGA Canada), a position he has held since 2006. He also is Head of Global Mortality Products and leads the Global Pricing Integrity function for Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated, which is RGA Canada’s parent company. In addition, he is a member of RGA’s Executive Council.
Alain joined RGA Canada in 1997 with initial responsibility for the finance area. He became RGA Canada’s Chief Financial Officer in 1998 and its Executive Vice President, Operations and Chief Financial Officer in 2001.
Before joining RGA, Alain spent eight years as a Senior Manager at KPMG Peat Marwick spearheading the delivery of audit and other services to a variety of clients in the financial services, manufacturing and retail sectors.
Alain received his B.Comm. (Bachelor of Commerce) degree with a concentration in Accountancy from McGill University in Montreal. He is a member of the Ordre
des Comptables Agréés du Québec, and serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Life and Health Insurance Association, an industry association counting 99% of Canada’s life and health insurance companies as members.
