Executive Vice President and Head of U.S. Markets

 

 

Anna Manning, Executive Vice President and Head of U.S. Markets for Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated, is responsible for all operations within the United States, including business development, pricing, underwriting, medical, claims, and operations. She is also a member of RGA’s Executive Council.

Until January 2011, Anna was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for RGA International Corporation, overseeing international operational functions, including pricing, underwriting, claims, and administration.

Anna joined RGA in 2007 as Vice President and Actuary, Traditional Products. Prior to her arrival, she was a senior consultant in the Toronto office of Towers Perrin’s Tillinghast insurance consulting practice. Through her nearly two decades with Tillinghast, she provided consulting services to insurance companies in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, product development, and value-added performance measurements. Before joining Tillinghast, Anna was with Manulife Financial, where she was responsible for overseeing the pricing of the company’s U.S. individual annuity business.

Anna is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (FCIA). She received a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in actuarial science from the University of Toronto.
