RGA names Michael Casale Vice President, Product Management, AURA®
Casale is responsible for providing strategic and tactical direction for AURA and its associated services. Previously, he was Executive Director of the AURA Project Execution Office, leading cross-functional teams of project managers for all AURA implementations worldwide.
His 25 years of in-depth enterprise software management experience includes solution development, support and leadership for financial services, education and energy extraction companies as well as government entities. Since joining RGA in 2009, Casale has directed successful implementations of more than two dozen AURA installations for RGA clients around the world.

AURA, one of the most implemented e-underwriting solutions in the world, is designed to improve underwriting time service, manage risk consistently and reduce costs associated with processing insurance applications. It is offered as SaaS solution or can be installed within a client’s location. AURA may be used in traditional life insurance settings, by banks, in direct-to-consumer web portals and by call centers; it can be accessed by underwriters, agents, consumers, brokers and call center representatives. In 2013, more than three million life, health and annuity applications for clients around the world were processed using RGA’s AURA e-underwriting tools.
