RGA originally established a liaison office in Taiwan in 1999 to service the local market and, in 2007, the Taiwan Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Financial Supervisory Commission granted the office approval to operate as a licensed life reinsurance branch in Taiwan. Today, RGA’s Taiwan Branch promotes a full range of services and support from its local office in Taipei.
