Established as a Representative Office in 1994, RGA Spain received its full Branch license in 2007. Currently promoting life reinsurance in Spain and Portugal and in line with the company’s objectives, RGA Spain aims to be the reinsurer whose products, services and ideas are considered essential by clients for their future growth and prosperity. RGA Spain became a member of UNESPA, Spain’s official insurance and reinsurance association, in 2002.

In addition to promoting traditional life reinsurance, RGA’s Spain Branch markets a comprehensive and innovative range of products and services, including mortality risk transfer for banking and social forecast organizations, creative financial engineering through the use of capital-motivated reinsurance, critical illness products, bancassurance, stratified life products, and products for offshore organizations.
