RGA UK officially opened its doors in 1998 and we received a full license to offer reinsurance products in 2000. Just four years later we were RGA’s second-largest revenue producer, and by 2009 we were the largest writer of new individual reinsurance business in the U.K.
On January 1, 2012, RGA Reinsurance UK Limited transferred its entire business to the UK Branch of RGA International Reinsurance Company Limited. RGA International Reinsurance Company Limited is a reinsurance company incorporated in Ireland and regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland.
