Gary Seifert is Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Global Financial Solutions, for RGA Reinsurance Company. He is responsible for managing global business development, marketing, and administration

activities for direct reports in the U.S., Germany, and Japan.

Gary started his business development career in 1992 as a Reinsurance Account Executive, marketing to life insurance companies in the U.S., and has filled a range of sales and marketing roles for RGA since then. He began

his reinsurance career in 1989 as a reinsurance analyst for ITT Lyndon Re, and then joined RGA in 1995 when RGA and Swiss Re purchased ITT Lyndon Re, forming RGA/Swiss Financial Group. RGA bought Swiss Re’s interest in 2000, renaming the unit RGA Financial Markets, and then in 2010, RGA merged the unit with RGA Capital and Financial Solutions to form GFS.

He received his Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting from the University of Missouri – Columbia and his M.B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis. He is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Management Accountant, and a Fellow of the Life Management Institute.
