RGA UK officially opened its doors in 1998 and received a full license to offer reinsurance products in 2000. Less than a decade later, the office was the largest writer of new individual reinsurance business in the United Kingdom.
Today, RGA International Reinsurance Company dac is incorporated in Ireland, with a UK Branch Office. We are regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland, Prudential Regulation Authority, and Financial Conduct Authority. Over the years, RGA UK has earned numerous honors and
was ranked #1 by ceding companies on NMG Consulting’s 2019 All Respondent Business Capability Index in the United Kingdom.
