Reinsurance Group of America Announces Promotion in RGA Technology Partners, Inc. Subsidiary
ST. LOUIS, Missouri, April 6, 2006 – Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated (NYSE: RGA) announces the promotion of Jym Barnes from Managing Director to President and CEO of RGA Technology Partners, Inc© (RTP). RTP is RGA’s wholly owned subsidiary devoted to developing and implementing underwriting solutions for the life insurance industry, including AURA© software.

In 2005, RGA Technology Partners positioned itself as a business services provider, offering an advanced tele-underwriting solution to carriers. Called AURA Underwriting Services, it enables insurers to use trained interviewers and the AURA technology on an as-needed basis. Clients are able to better manage their resources while gaining access to RGA underwriting rule sets, widely considered the best in the life insurance industry.
Prior to joining RGA in 2001, Jym worked at NaviSys, where he founded the Internet & E-Commerce Division in 1997. Prior to NaviSys, he worked in the information technology industry for 15 years and was the founder of STL.NET, Inc., an Internet management-consulting firm. Jym earned his bachelor’s degree in computer science from Saint Louis University.
