The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.
As a Senior Director and member of the Private Debt and Equity Investment Committee, Sam Panke is responsible for originating, evaluating, and structuring direct lending (unitranche, second lien, mezzanine) and co-investment opportunities, as well as fund investments.
Prior to joining RGA in 2018, Sam was a Vice President in the Syndicated & Leveraged Finance group at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey in Atlanta, where he had significant experience structuring and executing a broad range of debt capital markets transactions, including leveraged buyouts and recapitalizations, across a diverse set of industries.
Sam received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Vanderbilt University with minors in English and Financial Economics. He also studied at the London School of Economics in 2008 with a focus on Intermediate Micro- and Macroeconomics.
Outside of work, Sam is involved with the Church of St. Michael and St. George and serves on the Advisory Council at Our Little Haven, in addition to other civic and charitable organizations in St. Louis.
