As a Managing Director and member of the Private Debt and Equity Investment Committee, Trevor Gibson is responsible for originating, evaluating, and structuring direct lending (unitranche, second lien, mezzanine) and equity co-investment opportunities as well as fund investments.
Prior to joining RGA in 2017 as a Senior Director, Trevor was with BMO Harris Bank where he was responsible for new business development, underwriting, structuring, and relationship management across a diverse set of industries, including both leveraged and non-leveraged transactions, working with both family-owned and private equity owned businesses in the lower middle market. Prior to BMO, Trevor spent his career in similar roles at various banking institutions including LaSalle Bank, where he started his career in 2005.
Trevor received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (B.S.B.A.) in finance from the University of Missouri and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis. Prior to attending the University of Missouri, he served in the United States Navy as a Non-Commissioned Officer and helicopter aircrewman.
