RGA Named “Best Life Reinsurer” by the 2014 Reactions North America Awards

ST. LOUIS, Sept. 24, 2014 – Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated (NYSE: RGA) has been named “Best Life Reinsurer” by the 2014 Reactions North America Awards, presented last night at a gala awards celebration in New York City.

RGA is extremely pleased to have been honored again in this year’s Reactions North America Awards, which are adjudicated annually by a distinguished panel of insurance and reinsurance leaders and presented to leaders in the industry.

In other recent honors, RGA was rated “Best Overall Life Reinsurer” by cedants in the 2013 Flaspöhler Survey (Direct Writers Evaluate Reinsurers / Life N.A.), the fifth consecutive time RGA has been rated best overall in the biennial survey.  RGA was also again recognized for forward thinking in the 2014 Best’s Review Innovation Showcase industry forum, the third consecutive year RGA has been honored by this annual showcase.
