Fazilya Abdulkafarova

As Executive Director of Underwriting Research and Development at RGA, Fazilya Abdulkafarova leads efforts to investigate and develop underwriting innovations, with a focus on concept development, research, strategic ideation, and validation initiatives. She is a key member of the Strategic Underwriting Initiatives (SUI) team, where her work supports the modernization of underwriting practices across multiple business lines.
Fazilya joined RGA in 2024. She holds a Bachelor of Science in biology from Temple University and has completed ALU 101, 201, and 202. She is an Associate of the Life Management Institute (ALMI) and an Associate, Customer Service (ACS). She actively contributes to industry advancement through her involvement with the AHOU Technology Committee and the Professional and Public Relations Committee of the American Academy of Insurance Medicine (AAIM).
