Jayson Bronchetti is Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated (RGA). He leads RGA’s Investment Management team, directs investment policy and strategy, and oversees the company’s global asset portfolio. He is a member of RGA’s Executive Committee.
Jayson joined RGA in 2026 with more than 25 years of experience in investment management, focused on insurance balance sheets and private markets. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer at Lincoln Financial, where he led the strategic direction of more than $300 billion in assets. As enterprise CIO, he led portfolio managers, research analysts, traders, and risk managers across private equity, private credit, corporate credit, real estate, structured products, and derivatives. He also designed and implemented the investment strategy for Lincoln’s inaugural Bermuda reinsurance subsidiary. Under his leadership, Lincoln significantly expanded its internal investment talent and also formed strategic partnerships to enhance private asset sourcing. He also chaired the board of Lincoln’s SEC-registered funds complex and oversaw the enterprise risk, hedging, and sustainability offices.
Prior to Lincoln, Bronchetti was Executive Director of Debt Capital Markets at J.P. Morgan. He also held roles in private credit, private equity, public fixed income, and distressed credit with Macquarie and Bank of America.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics, from Miami University, and completed the Executive Development Program at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the CFA Society of Philadelphia and holds Series 7, 63, and 79 licenses.
