Lisa Wagganer

Lisa Wagganer is Vice President of Technical Underwriting Operations at RGA, where she leads multiple functional teams and projects that enhance business strategy, leverage technology, drive compliance and foster innovation in underwriting processes. 

An accomplished underwriting leader with over 30 years of experience in the reinsurance industry, Lisa has a proven track record in strategically growing facultative underwriting services and is skilled in operational leadership, risk management, automation technology and client relations. Lisa has spent her entire career at RGA, serving in several key underwriting positions until assuming her current role in 2019. 

Lisa holds a Master of Arts in leadership and organizational development and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology, both from Saint Louis University. She is an active member of the Association of Home Office Underwriters with past participation as a program committee member and presenter. She is a Certified Fellow of the Academy of Life Underwriting (FALU) and a Fellow of Life Management (FLMI), and has earned her Associate of Customer Service (ACS).
