Luis García

Luis García is Chief Actuary, Life, responsible for actuarial technical matters for all Latin American markets. He is based in the Mexico office.

Luis joined RGA in January 2015 as Actuarial Director. He worked at General Reinsurance AG as Regional Actuarial Director for almost eight years, and prior to that, he worked for ING Mexico for five years. Luis has extensive experience in reinsurance for Latin American markets.

Luis earned his Bachelor of Science in actuarial science from the University of the Americas in Puebla in 2001.
