In her role as the Head of Business Development for the Hong Kong and High Net Worth markets, Minnie Yu is responsible for managing client relationship for all these accounts in the region, as well as leading the marketing and product initiatives.
Minnie joined RGA Hong Kong Branch in 2015 as a Regional Pricing Actuary for the China, Hong Kong and Taiwan markets. In 2018 she became part of the Hong Kong Business Development team, and was promoted to her current role in 2019.
Prior to joining RGA, Minnie worked in various actuarial roles for HSBC Insurance and Prudential Assurance in Hong Kong, and as an actuarial consultant for Deloitte Hong Kong.
Minnie is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries UK (FIoA), and holds a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science from the University of Cape Town, South Africa.
