As Senior Vice President and Chief Pricing Actuary, Asia Pacific Financial Solutions, Nigel plays a leading role in the development of he financial solutions business in the Asia Pacific region. He is located in RGA’s Hong Kong branch.
Nigel has more than 30 years of experience in global financial services. His background includes C-suite management, investment banking, consulting and now reinsurance. In his current role he draws on this expertise to co-create with clients and structure solutions to achieve capital or financial reporting objectives. Prior to joining RGA in 2025, he worked extensively across Asia Pacific gaining first-hand experience as the Chief Financial Officer for one of Hong Kong's largest insurance companies and consulting to insurance company executives. In Europe he was a Managing Director in a major investment bank designing and implementing derivatives solutions for insurance companies.
He is originally from the United Kingdom and graduated from Durham University. He is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (FIA).
