As Chief Underwriter, Southeast Asia Markets, Regina Tan leads a team of experienced underwriters and claim assessors to deliver Underwriting and Claims services to our clients in Southeast Asia (SEA). She plays a key role in supporting new business and product development, risk management and underwriting innovation initiatives.
Regina joined RGA in September 2019 with more than 20 years of experience in both direct and reinsurance multi-nationals including Prudential UK, Aviva and Munich Re. Her experience encompasses Underwriting & Claims management of retail and High Net Worth segments; Life, Health and Group business lines in SEA. She also has extensive hands-on experience in Automated Underwriting implementations across the Asia region. Prior to joining RGA, she was Head of Underwriting and Claims at Pacific Life Re (Asia) where she was also in charge of Korea and China.
Regina holds a Bachelor of Business with major in Insurance from Nanyang Technological University. She is Fellow of the Academy of Life Underwriting (FALU), and Fellow of the Life Management Institute (FLMI).
