Terry Buechner

Terry Buechner is a Principal Insurance Specialist at Amazon Web Services, where he helps insurers modernize the technology systems that run their business — from policy and claims platforms to the digital channels through which they serve customers. He has been with AWS since 2019. From 2016–2019, he led the Digital Consulting practice at Majesco, a leading insurance core systems vendor. Prior to that, he spent 12 years on IBM's Global Insurance team, including five years based in Japan and two in Latin America.

Outside of work, Terry serves as a Company Captain in the Hastings-on-Hudson, New York, Volunteer Fire Department. He holds a BA from Georgetown University and an MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business.
