Vice President, Pricing Actuary, EMEA Region, GFS

Jamie Campbell is Vice President, Pricing Actuary, in RGA’s Global Financial Solutions (GFS) unit and is based in the United Kingdom. Jamie’s responsibilities cover the pricing, risk assessment and execution of GFS transactions throughout the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. Jamie is the Product Lead for longevity transactions.

Jamie joined RGA in January 2014. Prior to his current role, Jamie worked as a Pricing Actuary for GFS, where his predominant focus was pricing longevity swap transactions, as well as establishing infrastructure for the UK GFS small schemes offering. Prior to joining RGA, Jamie was a Senior Pricing Analyst in the Valuations team at ReAssure, focusing on the statutory reporting of Swiss Re’s longevity swap business.

Jamie received a Masters of Mathematics and Statistics degree (MMathStat) from the University of Newcastle. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries (FIA).

Business Development Director, GFS

Danielle Harrington is Vice President, Business Development for RGA’s Global Financial Solutions (GFS) unit in the United Kingdom. She is responsible for client relationship management and for the structuring, execution, and maintenance of UK longevity and asset-intensive deals.

Danielle joined RGA in 2013. Prior to her current role, she worked as a Business Development Actuary for GFS. She also was a Pricing Actuary, where she was responsible for pricing reinsurance of traditional term and critical illness products in the United Kingdom.

Before joining RGA, Danielle was a Pricing Actuary at Lucida plc, where she priced and executed bulk buy-in/out transactions with UK pension schemes.

Danielle holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in mathematics from Kings College, University of London, and she is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries (FIA).

Senior Vice President, Lines of Business and Innovation, GFS

Hamish Galloway is Senior Vice President, Lines of Business and Innovation, Global Financial Solutions (GFS). He leads global strategy development around the GFS lines of business, including Longevity, Asset Intensive, and Capital Solutions, and he is responsible for aligning the organizational innovation efforts more closely with strategies. He will also continue to lead Omnilife, a specialist insurer based in the UK. Prior to his current role, Hamish was responsible for business development across the EMEA region for GFS.

In 1998, Hamish was the first employee hired by RGA in the United Kingdom. He was an integral member of the team that took RGA’s UK operations from a startup to its current status as the market’s leading life reinsurance provider. He spent the first 10 years as Chief Pricing Actuary. He was named Head of Longevity and Financial Reinsurance in 2009, and later became Senior Vice President, GFS.

Hamish came to RGA from Gerling Global (UK), where he headed up its Pricing and Valuation areas. He began his career at Manulife Financial, and stayed on when it was bought by Canada Life, working as the valuation actuary for the unit-linked subsidiaries.

Hamish graduated from Cambridge University’s Sidney Sussex College, and qualified as an actuary in 1993. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries (FIA).
