As Senior Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of RGA Taiwan Branch, Claire Wang is responsible for
driving business strategy and overseeing the region’s operations. She has been with the company since 2019 and
has more than 25 years of experience in the life insurance and financial services industry, much of it in executive
positions.
Prior to joining RGA, Claire held several senior positions at BNP Paribas Cardif, including serving as Chief
Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President for the P&C business in Taiwan. She also had more than 20 years
of experience with Nan Shan Life, where she held leadership positions including Senior Vice President, Head of
Marketing, and Head of Product / Actuarial Development, and Appointed Actuary.
Claire received a Bachelor of Science degree in applied mathematics from Tunghai University in Taiwan and a
Master’s degree in actuarial science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Business. She is a Fellow
of the Actuarial Institute of Chinese Taipei and of the Society of Actuaries. She is also an active participant and
past President of the Actuarial Institute of the Republic of China (Taiwan).
