As Head of Business Development – Southeast Asia Markets for RGA International Reinsurance Company, Elena Quek helps to create new business opportunities, works closely with product development, pricing, underwriting, Global Financial Solutions (GFS), and the Regional Solutions Team (RST) to meet clients’ needs for the region, and Singapore in particular.
Elena joined RGA in 2018 and brings with her over 20 years of industry experience. Elena has extensive hands-on experience in product development, marketing, actuarial pricing and reporting as a reinsurer, insurer and consultant. She has worked in life, health, group and takaful business lines throughout the Southeast Asia region – including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam, and Australia.
Elena received a Bachelor of Commerce, with honours, in actuarial studies from the University of Melbourne. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia (FIAA) and a Fellow of the Singapore Actuarial Society (FSAS).
