Dr. Summer Zhu

Summer Zhu received her M.D. degree from Peking Union Medical College and completed her specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2001. In addition to her capabilities as a specialist in clinical medicine, Summer has worked for both direct insurers and reinsurance companies across the region for over 15 years. Her responsibilities have included providing medical consultation to the business in relation to individual case assessment, the development of underwriting and claims philosophy, and new product initiatives. She has significant experience conducting education for risk managers and planners on various medical and industry issues. She is also a Fellow of Life Management Institute and the Academy of Life Underwriting.
