
Sleep-related disordered breathing is probably more common than any one of us realizes. Starting with snoring and ending with obstructive sleep apnea, it has a considerable effect on many people’s lives, and is a significant cause of increased mortality and morbidity.
This review focuses on obstructive sleep apnea, its epidemiology, treatment and impact on both mortality and morbidity.
