The scheme will offer three different types of solutions to Freepaycard members: a 7-in-1 vector borne disease cover; Hospicash Health Insurance Cover; and a Personal Accident Cover.

Daido provides JustInCase’s medical insurance “Korona Tasukeai Hoken” to small and middle-size enterprises with less than 50 employees for one year free. The issue age is 18 to 64. The policy period is one year and is renewable. It offers a 50,000 yen benefit paid for more than one night and up to two days hospitalization.

Pacific Prime rolls out new SME Plan in partnership with Allianz. Life Insurance International, November 10, 2020.
Pacific Prime Insurance Brokers Singapore has launched a new SME Solutions plan in partnership with Allianz.
The plan, available via an online portal, allows SME employers to choose plan modules in accordance with the requirements for their employees. The benefits include telehealth consultations, direct billing for eligible inpatient costs, wellbeing support services such as the HealthSteps wellness app, and dedicated 24/7 helpline.

AXA Insurance launches #BetterMe by AXA, a customisable and holistic Employee Benefits programme for a healthier and more productive workforce. Press release, October 15, 2020.
#BetterMe by AXA allows companies to provide employees insurance coverage that can be customized according to their individual needs. Employees  then have the option of enhancing their company-provided insurance plan by increasing the level of coverage or adding on new coverage. The following options can be added: critical illness insurance; personal accident insurance; general practitioner coverage; specialist coverage; and dental coverage.

Worklife will offer group life insurance, dental plans, and critical illness plans on its platform. Customers will be able to select benefits with no medical questions or underwriting required and chose from a range of cover levels.

Legal & General launches next generation employee protection offering. Employer News, December 4, 2020.
Legal & General Insurance, in partnership with fintech firm Salary Finance, announces the launch of Protect; a mobile-first, group insurance solution. The insurer is offering extending group life cover, income protection and critical illness cover to entire workforces at no extra cost for the employer. Protect is aimed at employers with 500+ employees.

Legal & General launches COVID-19 intervention package. Life Insurance International, November 4, 2020.
The Long COVID Intervention Package, delivered by Vitality360, will be available to employees who are suffering long-term COVID-19 symptoms, after an absence of four to six weeks. Employees will be offered a package which includes eight hours of therapy assessment and rehabilitation. They will also receive bespoke treatment and further psychological support.

HSBC unveils virtual healthcare support for life customers. Best Advice, October 20, 2020.
Existing HSBC Life Protection policyholders in the U.K. will now receive additional physical and mental health benefits. In partnership with Square Health, policyholders will have access to 24/7 remote GP consultations, mental health support, private prescriptions and a second medical opinion service.
