Michael (Mike) McLellan is the Chief Executive Officer of ReCap and serves as the chairman of RGA's Real Estate Investment Committee.  During his tenure at RGA the real estate department has grown from six individuals to more than 40 employees with over $4 billion of assets under management.  To assemble the ReCap team, Mike drew on a longstanding network of loyal colleagues, many of whom worked with him for over two decades. 

Mike began his career in commercial real estate in 1983 when he started as a real estate analyst at the Denver office of General American Life. His experience includes new loan origination, underwriting, portfolio management, delinquency management, loan restructuring and foreclosure, real estate equity joint venture structuring, mezzanine fund development, equity real estate development, and property management.  He moved to General American’s home office in St. Louis in 1986 and later became the head of real estate at General American Investment Management Company (GAIMCO).  When GAIMCO went public as Conning Asset Management Company, Mike continued as the leader.  Under his direction, Conning’s third-party real estate assets under management grew to over $6 billion with clients ranging from small to large life insurance companies, pension and endowment funds and numerous CMBS transactions. 

Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and an MBA from the University of Denver.

William (Bill) Frields is the Chief Operating Officer of ReCap and serves as a member of RGA's Real Estate Investment Committee.  He currently leads the underwriting, portfolio management, servicing, and information technology groups at ReCap.  Bill and ReCap Chief Executive Officer Mike McLellan have worked together for many years, including the last several at RGA/ReCap; together Bill and Mike led the growth of the ReCap organization.  

Bill has worked in commercial real estate since 1986 when he joined the real estate division at General American Life, eventually rising to Senior Vice President at General American successor company Conning.  His experience includes new loan origination, underwriting, loan servicing, portfolio management, delinquency management, loan restructuring and foreclosure, structuring real estate equity joint ventures, and equity real estate development. 

Bill has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a Master of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Southern Illinois University.

Daniel Wieman

Daniel (Dan) Wieman, Vice President, Real Estate Credit for ReCap, is responsible for the company's underwriting and closing groups. He also works closely with Regional Managers in structuring and negotiating new loans and is a member of the Mortgage Loan Credit Committee at ReCap. 

Dan has 20 years of experience in commercial real estate and commercial mortgage lending. He began his career at Conning Asset Management in 1997. He worked as an asset administrator and underwriter on loans for insurance companies, pension funds, and banking institutions. He was extensively involved in two securitizations totaling over $1.2 billion in value while at Conning, and he was also an Assistant Portfolio Manager for multiple third party accounts, including RGA. Following his time at Conning, Dan worked in banking, including service as a lender for Wells Fargo. Since joining RGA/ReCap, he has been instrumental in developing underwriting and closing procedures as well as ReCap’s internal credit rating model.  

Dan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Truman State University and an MBA from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.

Chris Dolan is Vice President, Portfolio Manager for the $4 billion ReCap commercial mortgage loan portfolio. 

Chris has 20 years of experience working in all phases of commercial mortgage loan origination, asset management and credit resolution. He began his career in commercial real estate in 1996 as a loan analyst at Conning Asset Management’s Atlanta lending office. In 2005, he joined Morgan Stanley as a CMBS loan underwriter. In 2007, he moved to Silverton Bank, a regional correspondent bank in Atlanta, where he worked as the CRE loan portfolio manager and senior CRE loan underwriter. In 2009, during the global financial crisis, he worked at First Citizens Bank of South Carolina in Special Assets and managed a FDIC loss share portfolio of 35 relationships with over 100 loans.  

Chris holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Denver and a Master’s degree from Georgia State University. Both degrees are in real estate and finance.

Sharon Dominguez is Vice President, Servicing for ReCap.  In her current role, Sharon manages a loan servicing group to ensure all aspects of loan servicing (document retention, confidential customer information handling , cash handling/reconciliation, tax management, and insurance and reserve escrows) are completed according to ReCap's policies and procedures.  She also leads the development of policies, procedures, standards, and controls related to commercial mortgage loan and real estate management to help ensure the company’s regulatory compliance. 

Sharon has 20 years of experience in the commercial mortgage loan industry and more than 35 years of customer service experience.  She began her commercial real estate career in 1997 as a Servicing Coordinator responsible for creating and implementing an on-line servicing and procedures manual. She was promoted to a management position, providing leadership to the loan servicing group.  She also has experience in CML closings, HUD multifamily loans, mezzanine and home-equity-loan servicing, and loss mitigation on residential loans.

Lisa Grimes is Vice President and General Counsel for ReCap. In her role, Lisa manages the ReCap Real Estate Law Group and is responsible for documenting, negotiating, and closing all loans originated by the company. She also is responsible for the review and preparation of all documentation needed to address a myriad of mortgage loan servicing issues and for providing any legal advice required for loan applications or other real estate or lending matters as they arise.   

Lisa began her career as a real estate attorney in 1987 and started working in commercial mortgage lending and real estate finance in 1991, when she served as in-house counsel for the St. Louis Development Corporation representing the Community Development Agency, the Industrial Development Authority, and other quasi-governmental agencies in the administration of the City’s Community Development Block Grant program overseen by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the issuance of industrial development bonds.  In 1996, Lisa joined the law department of General American Life Insurance Company, representing General American and successor company Conning’s institutional clients with their real estate and commercial mortgage needs.  Lisa became Vice President, Counsel and Closing Manager for KeyBank Real Estate Capital in 2001. In connection with KeyBank's third-party lending program, she provided legal representation necessary for the closing and servicing of commercial mortgage loans originated for various life insurance company clients. Over her 30-year career, Lisa closed approximately one thousand commercial mortgage loans with a total-dollar value well into the billions.  

Lisa has a Bachelor of Science degree from Southeast Missouri State University and obtained her Juris Doctor from the St. Louis University School of Law.  She is also a member of the Board of Directors of Gateway Housing First, a non-profit corporation dedicated to the construction and development of housing for individuals with disabilities and special needs.

Sharon Menner is the Vice President, Technology and Analytics for Real Estate Investments, ReCap. Prior to her current role, she served as the System Administrator and Lead Business Analyst for a PLM software system supporting real estate functions at RGA since 2011. 

Sharon has more than 30 years of information technology experience.  Sharon began her IT career in New York at TIAA/CREF in the actuarial programming area. She moved into public accounting, providing financial reporting for various insurance and reinsurance companies.

Prior to joining RGA in Financial and Investments Solutions, Sharon gained expertise in data warehousing as a Lead Programmer/Project Manager at GMAC Insurance for more than 13 years.

Sharon has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Arizona State University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
